Vata Pacifying Foods
It is Vata Season: foods that we all should be eating at least a little
Whether your Prakriti ( your body constitution) or your Vikriti ( your current imbalance) is Vata, it is Vata season. All the correspondences of Vata and its elements, air and space, are occurring. Everyone’s Vata in their body will experience some aggravation because of it. If you are a Vata or have a Vata imbalance, this is especially so. Remembering that in Ayurveda, opposites create balance, we can understand the natural tendencies towards wanting things like soups and stews and the like because they are warming.
